Question: Does height really only depends on your parents!?
I know it's also the food and how much sleep you get but it's mostly genes right!? My father is 1m70 and my mum is only 1m55, i'm almost 13 and 1m58 can I be any taller than my father :(!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes and no!.!.it goes deeper then just the parents!.!.it's their parents and brother and sisters from past generations!.!.!.even then there's no guarantee that you'll be tall if you're parents were!. More likely perhaps, but not guaranteed!. I'm 5'9" and my father and all six of his brothers were well over 6'2" with several reaching 6'8" and 6'10"!. Even the women in his family were tall at 5'11" and 6'1"!.!.!.well, the height gene skipped me and my children!.!.but it looks as if it may re-emerge in the grand children!. One is 5'6" and only nine years old!.!.!.we'll see!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

u will of course have heredity characteristics but u may have limited characteristics or many!.!.!.
u may get characteristics of your grandparent's or other releated members of family!.
u may be taller!.

Genes play a huge roll in how tall you will be that's no guarantee on how tall you will be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
