What's the best time to work out?

I have a 24/7 gym membership and I can go swim/workout whenever I want. Literally. My question is - is there a difference between swimming during the day, and going on with the rest of your day, or swimming late at night, and coming home and going to bed? What's better for you? Do you burn less if you sleep right afterwards?


Answers:

When you work out, your body releases endorphens, which give you more energy. Because of that, people sometimes have a hard time sleeping after they get done working out. The best time would either be early in the moring before work (then your metabolism would be up all day and you would burn more calories throughout the day) or right after work so that you have a few hours to wind down after you get done.
