Fat people.?!


Question: Fat people!.!?
Why do they always complain so much about being fat!. How hard is hit to eat less and do some exercise!?

There's a girl at my university and she always complains about being overweight, but she's always eating and I see her at the union all the time drinking pints!. She's a bloody whale!. Why can't she just do some bloody exercise!? Its not that hard!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't understand it either, even though I used to be like that!. I wouldn't really COMPLAIN, but I'd be very self-deprecating and make mean jokes about myself!. They were really funny, but I'm sure there were plenty of people that thought the same way you do, "why doesn't she just do something about it!?" I guess it was because I really didn't know what to do-- i was really busy with my kid and school and was so depressed about being chunky that i didn't have the motivation to do anything about it!.

Maybe there is more to her than just being a whiny fatty!. : )Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is something like quitting smoking, not as hard of course, but eating and bad exercise habits are hard to give up!. If she is one of your friends, you could help remind her to slow down on the food and exercise more often, and maybe talk about her complaining with her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

u could eat as much as u want, but hav to burn a good amount of calories!. it is hard to eat less and do more excersise as u need energy for your excercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Obviously you have never had to struggle with weight issues, it is extremely difficult!. Maybe she eats to drown her feelings!.!.!.Try being nice to her, she is a person just like you with the same thoughts and feelings!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

for some people, eating is emotional!.!.!.!.there could also be many other reasons!.!.!.!.stop being so judgemental!.!.!.!.why are you better than her!? I say either try to help her or leave her alone, people always need something to complain about!.

They complain cause they know if they dont stop!.!. they can DIE!!! And dude, its harder than it looks!. Trust me, im one of them and trying to get away from it!. Its hard on your body to eat less and not eat as much because your so used to it, and if you eat less and excersie its hard, your not used to it, and its harder because you have extra pounds on you!. You get tired faster and hurt yourself if you keep going!. ITS HARD MAN OK!! DONT MAKE FUN AND CALL US BLOODY WHALES!!!!

Spoken like somebody who's lucky enough to never to have had any weight problems!. I can't wait to see what tune you're singing when your metabolism has slowed down!.

Seriously, though, there's a lot of science to back up the fact that a lot more goes into how you weigh than just how much you eat and how much you exercise!. Some people have lower metabolisms!. Some people have psychological problems!. And a lot of people have genes that predispose them to obesity--scientific fact!. Did you know that scientists are now thinking that you can only control your weight about as well as you can your height!? Just as you can only control how tall you grow within a few inches (depending on activity and diet in your early years), you can only control your weight within about 30 pounds!.

And also, don't criticize people for finding something hard that you've never even had to fight for!. Changing a lifestyle is, in fact, hard!.

Unless you're a biologist and have any scientific evidence to prove "It's not that hard!" consider yourself smacked down!. I don't like being mean, but if you really wanted civilized discussion, you would have realized that your "bloody whale" tirade was unnecessary, Josh!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
