How can I lift weight and grow at the same time?!


Question: How can I lift weight and grow at the same time!?
Hi!. I started lifting not too long ago and I heard it stunts growth!. I still want to grow more!.!. I also want to be able to lift more!. How can I do this!? Please answer only if you really know what I should do!. I can only bench like 135 right now!. Maybe it won't effect me!? idk please answer only if ur sureWww@Answer-Health@Com

weight lifting stunting the growth is a myth!. there is not one peer reviewed medical study that supports these claims!. some folks yammer on and on about growth plates and such closing and fractures!. but all data shows that participating in football, basketball and gymnastics is a higher risk than resistance training is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I started lifting weights when I was in 6th grade, and did powerlifting all through highschool, I'm now almost a junior in college, I'm 6'1", have 15" biceps and 17" calfs, and taller than everyone else in my family!.

Working out didn't stunt my growth, use the proper form, eat right, and you should be fine!. Besides there are worse things than being shorter than you should be, like obesity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
