Fatt, Cheat day? HELP me PLEASE!?!

Question: Fatt, Cheat day!? HELP me PLEASE!!?
I have been on a 1,200-1,500 calorie diet for almost one full week and so far lost about 4 pounds!. Tomorrow is Friday and i am supposed to go out for Pizza!.!.!.i heard that it is ok to have ONE cheat day every week or so!.!.!.will it be ok for me to eat 3 slices of pizza tomorrow night!?
It'll be normal crust and not extra cheese (i actually usually take all of the cheese off my pizza lol i just like the crust with some parmigian cheese) and i am going to have about 120 cals in the morning from Special K cereal and lunch just veggies then pineapple around 4:30ish!.
I am 5'9 and 134 pounds (if it matters) will i gain weight from having this one cheat day!?
Thanks!
(and how many cals is a pizza slice with the cheese taken off!?)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Absolutely, have a cheat day and don't feel guilty about it!.

There are a few reasons why a cheat day makes sense:

(1) If you've been eating 1200-1500 calories a day for a length of time, then your body is routinely burning more than it is receiving!. Slowly, your body is slowing down the metabolism because it "senses" a famine!. By eating a cheat meal once a week, you "reset" your body's metabolism!. It thinks whatever famine is over (this is because most of mankind's history has been about times of famine and times where food is plentiful)!. So will you gain weight !? Maybe!. But it might just be mostly water gain (much of what you eat is water, not calories)!. But even if you totally splurged, one day isn't going to hurt you!. Assume your basal metabolism is 1800, you would have to eat 4300 calories that day to gain a pound of fat!. And really, if you ate that much in one day, you'd probably crank up your metabolism over the next few days(assuming you went back to the diet after the cheat day) so much you'd quickly lose it and possibly more!.!.!.

So go ahead and have a cheat day!. And don't count calories or worry about what you eat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, you are NOT fat!. Who told you this!? In fact, you sound underweight!. I am 5'7" and 145 pounds and I am considered average - I am not overweigh by any means!. Have that cheat night!. Have a few more in fact!. And consider speaking to your doctor about getting off that diet - you are not overweight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whoa whoa whoa!.
First of all, you are underweight!.
The last thing you need to do is lose weight!.
But if you MUST, having a cheat day is perfectly okay!.
But, if you're still hungry after 3 pieces, go ahead and have another!.
Because YOU definitely don't need to lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's always good to allow(!) yourself a cheat day!. As long as you stay active then you won't see any weight changes!. It's good to shake up your metabolism so it doesn't get into a regular system and start to slow down after all your hard work!.!.

Hope this helps :) GOOD LUCK!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, you would not gain weight

its important to have at least a cheat day every week when on a dietWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think you'll be fine since you usually eat healthy and exercise!?!?
Drink water or diet soda!.
One day never hurts!Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is good to have a cheat day!.!.!.!.!.it sounds like you do not need to loose any weight anyway!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I saw your question last time you posted about this!. The body builder/personal trainer who answered your question and said to have a cheat day is right!. (He gives great advice)!. I've heard this talked about A TON from personal trainers and nutritionists!.!.!. but when you have a cheat day make sure you're not overeating!.!. having cheat meals is okay with portion control!. Also instead of just eating vegi's and pineapple for dinner you should have a real full meal!.!.!. just dont eat so many slices of pizza for lunch!.!. try 1 slice with a side salad!.

Also I bet if 1 week ago you went and got your body fat percentage tested, and your lean muscle mass tested!.!. and then again did it today!.!. its not pure fat your losing but rather muscle!. When you're losing weight and see 4 lbs down you think you're doing great (i've been there so many times) but I had a huge reality check when I went and got everything tested and saw that my body fat percentage increased, lean muscle mass decreased even though I was down 8 lbs!. Yea!.!. not cool!.!. just ends up being a flab of a mess!. Now i'm building muscle that I lost from my low cal diet and starting over to do things the RIGHT way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
