Whey protein!. Make sure you are loading up with protein right after working out!. You have a 30-60 minute window right after your work out where your body can absorb up to 3x the normal amount of protein your body can consume!. After this window your body will stop absorbing this protein and start discarding it!. Muscle Milk is the best tasting protein powder I have tried!. Protein powder is just a supplement, make sure you are also taking in a lot of protein through lean meats (steak, fish, poultry, etc!.)!. Your muscles grow when they are recovering from exercise!. Most off the shelf post-workout drinks contain way too much protein and not enough if any carbohydrates!.
