Can you only get muscles by lifting weights?!


Question: Can you only get muscles by lifting weights!?
Or are there other workouts you can do to get muscles!?
Because I've been using these Billy Blake's workout videos, and hes intense and he does alot of arm and shoulder workouts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No you can get musles by doing resistance traininng!.Anything that provides your body with a fair amount of resistance on a regular baisis will build muscles!. The quickest way to add muscles is by doing compound movements on a regular basis!.These include squating,Dealifts,Bench press,Rows and dips!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some sports and exercises may cause an initial increase in muscle mass in some!. those people would have led a previously sedentary lifestyle and are completely new to exercise in general!.

with out constantly overloading the muscles there is no reason for them to continue to adapt and grow larger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope you can do sports that require lots of exercise!. if your body aches then your muscles are building!. I love to to steam crunches there awesome!. I'm a female and I'm involved with many sports also I work out twice a day so good luck with getting those muscles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

to increase muscle size you need to use weight, but to increase muscle tone, doing stuff like pushups will increase tone and definition as well as muscle enduranceWww@Answer-Health@Com
