Question: Does your fitness routine ever fall into a slump!?
My work has fallen into a slump and likewise I've been depressed about it!. Now when I get home I don't have the energy to work out the way I used to!. The only thing I feel like doing is drinking a beer and watching CSI!.
How do you get out of a depressive funk when bikini season is right around the corner!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Shake it up, Red!. Change your routine!. Hitting these "slumps" or "plateaus" is normal, and changing your entire routine and making it fun again will make a HUGE difference!.
If you've been using the eliptical for cardio, change to the treadmill, or stairmaster!. Or better still, go for a power walk or run outside!.!.!.!.beautiful weather for it!. Or try swimming or biking!. And try changing the time of day you work out too!. If you do cardio in the a!.m!., try it in the p!.m!., or vice versa!.
And change all your weight exercises! Instead of bench press for the chest, try dumbell flys!.!.!.!.instead of upright rows for the shoulders, try lateral dumbell raises!.!.!.!.!.dips for the tris instead of tricep pushdowns, etc!.

Everyone falls into a slump at one time or another!. You need to set short term goals for yourself and work towards those!. Like "in a week I want to have lost !?!?!? much weight"!. I know how you feel!. The same thing happens to me!. I'll be doing so good and then I stop and have trouble getting into the routine again!.

Absolutely! And every time it does, I start putting the pounds back on!. I can eat just about whatever I want (within reason) as long as I exercise at least 5 days a week!. If I quit working out, no matter what my diet is, I start to gain!.

I know I will have to exercise the rest of my life to keep my weight under control (ugh!) so I do it!. I've been obese before and I NEVER want to go back there again!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yep, it happens to everyone!. Willpower!. Thers no other way!. But try to do a variety of exercises and workouts so you dont get bored!. And dont drink beer; it has SO many calories!.

Buy an uber cute bikini thats maybe a size to small so when you wear it you're muffin topping!. That will give you a motivation to work out!. Try up a different routine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you just make yourself go to the gym, the depression state might go away!.!.!.!. Most of the battle is just getting in the car and going to the gym!.!.!.once you are there the workout it easy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
