You can be really healthy being a vegetarian, as long as you are not the type who only eats french fries and bread!. There are lots of great places to find protein, like raw nuts, beans, soybeans, cottage cheese and other dairy products!. Let her know that several small meals are the best way to lose weight because if you go into a meal too hungry, you will pig out and eat way more than you would have among other reasons!. Classic calorie counting is the best way to go as far as I am concerned!. She should also be sure to get an appropriate amount of protein, carbs, fiber, and a little fat in balanced proportions!.

By the way, I checked the website in the former answer and it is a sales gimic!. Do not fall for that; most people's intestines are extremely healthy and those "critters" are there to help you digest your food!. It is all part of nature!. People are becoming fatter and more unhealthy because they eat more, eat less healthily, and exercise less than in the past!. Duh!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She may need help, as a friend you can only do so much you can support but at the end of the day its her decision!. Stick with her and eventually she'll probably come around but if you keep nagging her she'll probably just stick in her heels!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
