Question: How can I train do do pull-ups!?
I am an 18 year old girl who has been lifting weights regularly for the last three years!. I have never been able to do a pull-up and consider that to be the pinnacle of physical strength!. It's not about total weight or your age or anything!. What it has to do with is your muscle mass to weight ratio!. In other words can certain muscle groups move you in certain directions!. As for suggestions a good way to start that usually is really cheap and you can do by yourself is going to the pool and doing pull ups on the side!. You don't even have to lift yourself out of the water!. The key is that the buoyancy will allow you to work on the muscles necessary to do pull ups!. What you are working for is to do as many pull ups as you can at a steady and controlled pace!. In other words don't go super fast but don't go extremely slow either!. Find a pace your comfortable with but MAINTAIN that pace while doing as many pull ups as you can!. Another thing that is very important is stretching your arms very well after doing pull ups!. If you want to get better at them you need to build lean muscle which is contrary to the common method of just bulking up which is not the best method!. Lean muscle allows you to pack on more muscle for less weight which may not always look as impressive, but once you have some muscle it is clearly defined and is optimal for sports such as rock climbing!. Again we come back to the muscle mass to weight ratio!. Lean muscle means better ratio!.
Well anyways I hope that this was helpful to you! =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
