Wat is cardio?!

Wat is cardio?

wats cardio. i no boxers do it and it helps build abs , but thats it. can u help me do some cardio by tellin me what excersise i need to do. the only thing i have is a bench and a 10lb medicine ball

cardio is short for cardiovascular. basically this is your lungs and heart/circulatory system. when people say cardio workout they mean they are working out the afformentioned areas. so, runnung, cycling, stair climbing, basketball, etc. the objective for cardio is to raise the heart's BPM because this burns calories and subsequently fat. the ideal BPM range differs for your age and sex but it is 100-150 for an adult. if you want to lose fat then you should also diet. no sodas,candy, cake,etc. mainly eat fruit/veggies and white meat. you could run a couple miles around your hood, go to your high school and run up the stadium stairs (advanced, and you have to hit each step up and down), jump rope, B-ball, football in the neighborhood (not ideal, but better than none.) or you could cycle (properly cycle, don't just coast)
