Using whey protein correctly for me?!


Question: Using whey protein correctly for me!?
I weigh exactly 102lbs!. I've been working out a lot recently but need to know how to intake whey protein correctly!. I've been told I should use it 40minutes before a workout and right after one!. But how much do I use!? I hear people saying 1gram per pound of weight but I dont know what that means!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You want 30-40g protein before you workout, and then 30-40g protein right after you work out!.

In general, you need 1g protein per day, per pound of body weight to maintain!. For you, that means you should be taking in 102g protein daily to stay at your current weight!. If you want to add muscle, then bump that up to 1!.5 or 2g protein per pound!. That would mean 153g or 204g protein per day!.

Spread the protein out evenly throughout the day, every 3-4 hours!. You can only absorb 40-50g protein every 3-4 hours, so be careful not to double up or you'll just waste it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont use 1gm per pound it could really end up being bad for ur kidneys and stuff unless ur an athlete that is serious!.!.!. just take it like 10 min or so after a workout dont wait so long!.!.!.!.and maybe take one in the morning!.!.!.this is what i didWww@Answer-Health@Com

i just do like 1 and 1/2 scoops right after working out, ive never heard that 1 gram theory, but it may be trueWww@Answer-Health@Com
