Question:

Is it possable to run so much that your body gets use to it that u dont lose weight any more?

i run 6 out of 7 days a week and my firend says that my body is gonna get use to it that i will only lose water weight

is this true if so what can i do to lose more weight that i can to every day and my body wont get use to


Answers:

yes, your body can get used to your workout, so it doesnt have to exert as much energy.

The remedy is to change it up. You can do other cardio exercises but you don't have to. If you are running a steady speed all the time, change your routine. Start doing intervals every other day. (warm up 5 minutes, jog 2 minutes, spring 1 minute...etc.)
or start running different terrains. The goal is to change it up enough that your body always needs to be ready for anything.

Or depending on how long you run for, you could add time or miles.

But I wouldn't worry about it yet, if you are still losing weight. Running is one of the best exercises, and it will get your body into pretty great shape, especially if you run 6 days.week. Just make sure you give your body enough recovery.

Also, you can change your eating habits, if you haven't already to make it more healthy.
