How much more weight can one parallel squat compared to a full squat?!


Question: How much more weight can one parallel squat compared to a full squat!?
i am 5'8, about 137 pounds!. i can full squat 185 pounds for fours reps, not totally maxing out so i know i can full squat about 205 or more!. how much do you think i can parallel squat (not talking bout box squat but just not going down all the way)!. also is this good for my age, im 15!? thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you don't break parallel it's not a full squat and you are short changing yourself!. the greater the range of motion the more effective the exercise will be!.

if you can squat more than you weigh that's a great start regardless of age!. most can not do that with good form!. try not to compare yourself to others when it comes to lifting!. there will always be someone bigger and/or stronger!. it doesn't matter what strength level you are at but how much you have progressed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
