Calorie Deficit?!

Question: Calorie Deficit!?
I think I'm just confusing myself here, but if I used to eat 2,500 calories a day, and I am now eating 1,500 a day, is that a calorie deficit of 1,000 or is the deficit based on the normal 2,000 calorie diet!? Just wondering!. I seem to be losing a lot of weight! Also, a few times a week I head over to the Y and burn a good 500 or 600 calories!. How long can I expect it to take to lose 10 pounds!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
In general a calorie deficit of 1100kcals per day would result in around 1kg of weight loss (2lbs) per week!. However, restricting to this extent will affect your metabolism, and potentially cause it to slow down, so the weight loss would be less!. Compounded with exercise, it would be quite stressful for your system!. You would be better cutting around 400-500Kcals per day, losing around 1lb a week and affecting your metabolism far less!.

U will avoid all confusion if u

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the calorie deficeit is from what you normally eat, so the 2500 is right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
