Will vitamin pills make me gain weight?!

Question:

Will vitamin pills make me gain weight?

Ok...I've never taken vitamin pills on a regular basis before. Recently, I feel weakness. I don't know what the cause of it but I just feel like not doing anything and doesn't matter how much sleep I get it's still not enough. (I even sleep like 12 hours and still having hard time waking up) I was thinking of taking some vitamins but I don't know if I should since I've never tried them before. Will they really boost me up? I mean are they going to help at all with this situation? Will I gain weight if I cannot burn those vitamins?! Just an advice please..

Answers:

Vitamins don't contain any calories, so you're safe. If you're on any type of exercise and/or diet program, you should be taking them, anyway.

Regarding your weakness: if you're on an exercise program, consider the possibility that you're overtraining. If you're tired all the time and your muscles have a frequent deep, throbbing ache, you're overtraining. Consult a certified trainer for advice, or buy a book that will teach you a balanced exercise program.
