What would be a great workout without having to go to the gym for!.!.!.

Answers:
calves - holding dumbells with arms down and hands at thighs, raise yourself on your tip toes, hold, and return!.

back - holding dumbells, bend over so you're facing the ground and place arms in front of you so the dumbells are parallel to ground and raise them as if you're flying!. hold and repeat!.

cardio - go for a walk, run, jog!. jump rope, dance, use workout dvd's!.

triceps - find a sturdy surface where you can do tricep dips or hold a dumbell with both hands behind your neck and slowly raise up, hold, and repeat!.

biceps - simple bicep curls!.

shoulders - shoulder press using dumbells!.!.

chest - push ups, chest press using dumbells!.

thighs - squats, lunges, leg raises - while lying on the ground raise your leg hold and repeat!.

abs/stomach - crunches (bicycle crunch, raised feet crunch, toe touch), reverse crunch, hold a pole behind your back and twist your torse, plank


all of these can be used with little or no weight, resistance bands, a stability ball or even household items like 2 jars of spaghetti sauce!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cardio is easy!. Running, biking, heck even jumping rope is cardio!. That's the easy part!. The more difficult part is strength trainng!. Without going to the gym, you'll be looking at mostly bodyweight exercises for strength!.

Look up a book called "The Naked Warrior" by Pavel Tsatsouline!. It's all about bodyweight exercises with the need for no extra equipment!. Alternatively, you can look up a DVD called the "Thug Workout!." The gangsta theme in it is kind of cheesy, but the workout is actually very good!. The downside to the Thug Workout is that you need to go to a park or a school to do some of the workouts because they use regular playground equipment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The conditioning I do for Tang Soo Do - pushups (all varieties and there are many); hundreds of crunches done very fast; leg raises, as many as you can do in perfect form; full sit-ups as many as you can do and as fast as you can do them in good form; jump roping for the calves and cardio - also bouncing legs in and out will definitely kill the calves as we do a lot of that in sparring and sparring drills; if you have stairs, you can do stairs, too!. You could do deadlifts for the back!.

Get a swiss ball, some resistance bands, and some light dumbells and you can get started!.

Do planks, squats, push ups, and sit ups!.

You don't need a gym!. You just need to keep your body moving and invest an hour or so at least every other day!.

Swiss balls provide a great variety of exercises!. You can get a step bench too (those plastic ones that you can vary the height by adding steps)!. Step benches are great for leg exercises!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You absolutely don't have to go to the gym to get a great workout!. There are many websites out there that have exercises with descriptions and pictures to help you do the exercise correctly (very important!!! - you don't want to get hurt)!. I really like the following link:

WIth any excersise you do remember to keep your core muscles flexed!
Legs: do reps of standing on your tippy toes: up and down
Back: I use a medicine ball
Cardio: Go up and down your stairs or fast pased walking
Arms: weights
Shoulders: bench presses lifting upward over ur head but not too much weight
Chest: butterflys, pushups
Thighs: steps, walking
