Question: How hard is it to lose weight after 40!?
I'm turning 40 next month and need to lose some weight, how hard will it be and what can i do to make it easier!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

17 months ago I decided to change my lifestyle!. I have struggled with my weight for many years!. Yes, whilst many diets worked, as soon as I stopped all the weight piled back on again, plus more!. I lost 48lbs in just over 6 months!.

So I decided to eat a healthy sensible diet and embark on regular exercise!. Sorry, I forgot to say I am now almost 47!.

I kept all junk foods, ready made processed meals you buy in the supermarket, alcohol, and takeaway meals to an absolute minimum!. These are high in refined sugar and full of saturated!. They add pounds to the waistline!. Junk food is just what it says - JUNK!. With one added ingredient in - FAT!.

I ate (and still do)!. Lean meats (no fat on), poultry (no skin), fish with scales on (no breadcrumbs or batter), eggs, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, beans and pulses (including potatoes, brown pasta, brown rice, and brown bread) making sure you keep them plain and simple, skimmed milk, non sugary cereals and low fat dairy products!.

Yes I do, have the occassional takeaway, a few glasses of wine, a cake, or a few biscuits now and then!. But really in MODERATION only!.

I also joined a gym!. Really enjoyed running on the treadmill!. This I know helped acelerate my weight loss!. I now run outside too and have entered myself into various charity events!. Running 5K and 10K!. Exercise will help to acelerate the weight loss!. Try to MOVE as much as you can!.

I know that the exercise really helped with my weight loss!. I have kept the weight off now for 13 months!. I have since them been able to maintain my weight with ease!. I have never before been able to keep the weight off!. The results are absolutely amazing!. I dropped 4 dress sizes!.

So I would say if you really put your mind to losing weight it really is not that hard!. Try to set yourself a goal!. Keep it in your mind!. Be patient!. Weight loss can be slow!. But once the weight starts to come off and your clothes start to feel loose you start to feel a real boost!. You also feel so much more healthier!.

Good luck in your quest to lose weight!. Don't be put off by age!. Anyone can lose weight, just like anyone can gain weight!. No matter what age they are!.

Nothing worth doing is easy!. It really depends on your body type, your metabolism, your activity level!. Basic principle behind weight loss is to consume fewer calories than you burn during the day!. That being said, if you don't work out, and you are not active, you might want to limit yourself on how much you eat!. The number of calories to consume depends on your weight and your activity level!. Don't go for any crazy diets, cause you will just gain the weight right back!. It's only hard if you don't exercise and eat less!. Something I've been battling for quite a few years now!.
Ok, it's hard! I won't lie to you!. I should have listened to my mother when I was young, too bad she was a good cook!.

Walking is good, eat half of what you would normally eat and spread it out to 5 or 6 meals a day to reduce your need for bigger meals!. Water will help fill you up between meals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the same as for any other age, it does not matter!.
go wheat free!. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on!. And no food after 7 p!.m!.
