Question: I need to lose weight!!! HELP!?
So, i am 12!. I know this sounds young but i am very overweight and my doctor says i need to lose some weight!. So!. I just need basic help!. I know about the healthy, cut down on portions etc!. But any more detail!? Special exercises!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any exercise wont hurt when you're this young!. Try anything!.!.!. from squats to short jogs!.!.!. start off with 20-30 minutes/day 3 days a week and slowly work your way up!.

Be careful with what you're eating!. When eating things such as cereal, pasta, or rice (carbs) try to make sure you look something that says "100% whole grain" or similar to that!. As always, watch the sweets and snacks!.

Try and eat more fiber, I've seen that this works well with a lot of people!. Fiber gives you a "full" feeling and it takes upwards of 12 hours for it to go through your system = more calories burned!.

dancing would be a fun exercise for you!.!.!.
don't stop eating everything you like, that will make you crave it more, try buying favorite foods in serving size packages and only eat one! sugar free foods are lower in calories and come in many things, low fat foods do too, don't drink your calories either diet soda is good, water is better! whole grains fill you up as does water and fibers in fruit and vegetables!. watch your salt and sugar intake too!.

Since it was your doctor who recommended that you lose weight, I suggest you meet back with him and find out how he wants you to do it!. Most doctors can recommend a program for you, or aleast can steer you in the right direction!.
