Back when I was a marathoner in the 1960's, I helped many people get started in jogging!. It's one barrier after another which you have to make it through! The arterial pain in the throat goes away after a week, but then the arterial pain in the pits of the shoulders comes in for a week or two!. That goes away, and the intestinal cramps try to stop you for a week!. Then the joints act up a little!. Then shin splints!. Then air seems in short supply!. Suddenly after about 6 weeks of all this, you're in!!! Nothing hurts anymore, you have range, and now it's you who helps the new people get through it all! And your clothes fit too loose, which you leave on as a badge of triumph!. Regards, Larry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Self magazine suggests to strength train before cardio!. It will burn 2% more fat than vice versa!. However, if your throat is in pain after running for 2 minutes, something is wrong!. I recommend seeing the doc!. That shouldn't happen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you have Acid Reflux!. When I was training for my first marathon I would get painful heartburn!. I started taking Zantac before my runs and solved that problem!.
If you want to burn fat, do some cardio workouts for 20-45 minutes 3x per week!. Perform these workouts while keeping your heart rate at an aerobic level!. An aerobic level is usually at a conversational pace where you could hold a conversation but with some difficulty!. This will help you burn fat while still remaining the same weight!. Actually, the weight loss/gain will depend on your diet and how many calories you are consuming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
