Hunger issues???!

Hunger issues???

I used to eat normally like 3 regular size meals a day, with like one snack per day. Now, I get a little hungry and then I eat like 5 bites and I am way full. Other times for like a week, I am always starving! What is wrong with me and what can I do about it???


Answers:

Listen to your body -- it'll tell you when you need food. If your stomach is grumbling and you're feeling empty, you need to eat. It just takes a little practice. Sometimes your stomach makes noise when it's digesting your food, so you know if your stomach is making noise an hour after you just ate you're not hungry. If you find yourself eating when you're not hungry, try to figure out why. For a lot of people it's boredom or stress, but you may have different triggers. P.S.: You're not weird, and there's nothing wrong with you -- your body goes through cycles where a little bit of food may fill you up and then a week later you find yourself needing more food. Just pay attention and watch for that one true indicator that you need to eat.
