I love eating olives but a lot of people told me that it is fattening!. I tried searching for its uses on the web but it always comes up insufficient!. I only got a good source of Vit E!. Pls help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's the opposite of fattening!. Olives boosts your metabolism!. and It's high in antioxiants!. Good for belly fight!. But if you eat too much of it, you will definately get fat, because what matter what you eat, healthy or un, you will get fat!. Eat everything in small portions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have heard it said that one olive has equivalent protein of eating 6 eggs, however, to eat 6 eggs is not a good idea for cholesterol, salt, etc!. I daresay over consuming olives is also not so good especially when they have been preserved in a salty brine!. Fresh olives straight from the tree may be a whole lot better for you!.
