If this is your son's first time to start with a lifting program, you need to find a freind that lifts that would be willing to go to the gym with him to teach him how to lift!. There are too many kids these days that hurt themselves at a young age because they aren't taught proper form and to leave the ego at the door!.

Initially I would advise a three day split with the M, W, F being lifting days and Tu, Th, and Sat being cardio days!. As an initial split he can try the following:

Monday: Back and Chest
Tuesday: Cardio and Abs
Wednesday: Sholders and Arms
Thursday: Cardio and Abs
Friday: Legs
Saturday: Crosstraining
Sunday: Rest

His diet is going to play a key role in how successful he can build mass and lose body fat so keep it clean!.

Lastly for now, I would agree to stay away from supplements (get rid of the word drugs) with the exception of a good multi-vitamin!. There are some excellent supplements (minus the steroids) out there that can assist in strength building that are considered natural (even in natural bodybuilding competitons) but your son is at least a few years away from this!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lower the Body fat by taking in less fat!.!.!.stay away from fried foods!.!.burgers fries etc!. and excercize!. A brisk walk for a mile or so at least 3 days a week!. Increase body strength by proper weight training!. Lift weights slowly to make the muscles work!. Lifting quickly is a waste of time!. Take baby steps and don't over do it!. Let the body develop without hurting it!. They say "No pain no gain" Thats crap!. You can feel it afterwards but it doesn't have to hurt!. NO Drugs!!! and you really shou;ld stay away from the crap they sell on TV or in places like GNC!. You can get all the proper nutrients in a proper diet!. Speak to a Dr who is also a nutritionist about your plans and they'll let you know what a good diet to use is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
