Answers:

Cardio exercise cranks up your metabolic rate to burn off body fat from your entire body, hence you lose weight.

It's deemed the best exercise to do when your goal is to lose weight.

It's the best exercise to promote cardio-respiratory efficiency, meaning the health and fitness of your heart and lungs.

It's also a good exercise to build up your endurance.

Cardio benefits don't stop here. You can read further the wonderful benefits of cardio here: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/benef...

There're no so-called "best cardio exercises". Really, the "best" cardio exercises are those you like and enjoy doing, so you stay-put in the program long, to see results.

What's the point of going for cardio exercises that have been labelled as the best but you hate and don't enjoy doing them? I bet you'll fall off from them fast......

No motivation = no exercise = no results!

So, choose cardio exercises you like and enjoy doing - could be swimming, sprinting, biking, jogging, running, rope jumping.....

Talking about rope jumping, it's one of the most rewarding cardio exercises around as it's an intense exercise that gets you into fast and furious pace and burns lots more calories
than an average cardio exercise.

A 15-min jump is as good as running/jogging for 30 mins because of its high intensity.

Start first with 5 mins of jump 3 times per week. Try not to jump for more than 5 mins as you may be sore for the first few times you jump.

After 4 weeks or so you should feel comfortable and have improved your agility, muscle coordination and endurance. Now you can try to jump rope 10 mins per session, 3-4 times per week.

After 4-6 weeks, you can crank things up a bit by jumping for 20-30 mins per session, for 3-4 times per week. If you can jump like this, I applaud you - well done! You'll reap all the benefits of cardio and in tip-top condition!
