I'm working on gaining weight, have I gained WAY too much too fast?!

Question:

I'm working on gaining weight, have I gained WAY too much too fast?

A bodybuilder I know who's helping me w/ gaining weight even said he's never heard anyone gain as much weight as I just have this fast. A little less than 2 weeks ago I was 110 lbs. at 5'6" (male) and now w/ lots of protein, the right food (not crap food), and lifting more I'm up to 130 lbs. I needed to do this, since as a XC runner I've been really sick due to my lack of weight. My question is, is gaining this much weight at once bad for me? Should I IMMEDIATELY stop what I'm doing? TIA

I'm a troll?? People don't have weight gaining fetishes dude, people have much better things to do with their lives. If you would like me to explain what I ate and all that, i/m me on AIM at thesecretagntman. Maybe if you knew a little more about how messed up I've been as a runner, then you might see why I gained a few more pounds than I should have maybe. That's what running up to 90 miles a week does to you, draines you, that's why I'm doing this while my mileage is still at a like 50 MPW.

Hi.
I find it hard to believe that these 20 lbs are all muscle. Perhaps you should slow down a little, you are putting a lot of stress on your body.
You have to remember, though, that the gains are always fastest in the beginning so this is not likely to continue at this pace.
With this increase weight comes more blood volume for the heart to pump so you should slow down for a few weeks to give your heart time to cope.
Good luck!!
