bodybuilding can become an obsession! I play basketball so i worked out constantly, usually so that i would be able to compete with anyone on the court!. it got to a point where i spent most of my spare time conditioning and lifting weights!. i broke myself from that habbit though!. i just reminded myself that no matter how much i work out i still was going to find some flaw with myself!. even though i am only 14 and you may not trust what i am saying because i am so young!. believe me i went through the same thing!.it may hurt you in the long run though, i talked to a therapist when i was going through it!. i know it may sound weird but talk to yourself about it, your fine the way you are and you have friends because people want to be around you!. its not because of the way you look!. if you put down the weights for a month or two, people would still look at you the same way!. you may not be looking for advice on how to stop, but i just thought i should let you know!.
its ok to want to work out, but you shouldnt let yourself get to the point of where you have to and if you do feel that way, you should not quit cold turkey but slowly stop working out as much!. =) just a little friendly advice from a young work out freak!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably a good way to think about it!. Better than how anorexics think about their body, and how fat people think about their body!. Bodybuilding is healthy for you as long as you stay away from steroids (just do the research, you'll see how much worse they are than what people say) and don't overwork yourself!. By the way, addiction is the wrong word, but it can become an obsession, but a good one!. Stick with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i totally agree!. always looking to improve, always looking for new ways!.!.!.!.

and for the record, i hate kids that say "steroids are bad" or "steroids ruin lives"!.!.!.!.they're bad when you abuse them!.!.!.in controlled substances, they can be beneficial!.!.!. i don't use them but i do research and i don't believe the mainstream newsWww@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with you, i'm always thinking about working out or getting stronger and if my nutrition for the day is good or not, getting enough protein etc!.

Before I lift, i always watch some motivational arnold video like this one

Totally!. I just love looking at myself and that gives me the willpower to do a stupid amount of cardio and workouts!.

It's true too!. We are just alpha-males bro!.

Don't call it an addiction either as that's negitive (= drugs, gaming and loads of unhealthy stuff)Www@Answer-Health@Com
