Question: Will pushups make me alot stronger and help me gain weight!?
im 6 feet and 150 pounds, so say i start doing 200 pushups a night, will i get buffer and bigger and gain some pounds!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start doing squats!.!.!. and no, you don't need to use a lot of weight!. Leg exercises make your entire body stronger, and hence encourages muscle growth throughout your body!.

You can also take a 8-15 pound weight in each hand and start doing "walking lunges"!. Just ask a trainer in your gym about proper technique!. That will really shock your body, and if you increase your protein consumption, your muscles will grow!.

Regarding pushups, they are excellent!. They draw on a lot of muscle groups, but remember, your legs are the key to getting bigger overall!. Exercising your legs will actually help you get a bigger chest and shoulders!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

200 would be over kill and burn even more weight!. To gain muscle mass you need alot of protein (eggs, cottage cheese, chicken but not fried tuna ) I was like you but then I used creitine and had a job that was physically demanding!. It might be OK in the short time but in the long run creitine will put a lot of stress on your liver and kidneys!. I only did it for about a year and now I am around 180 to 170 and have not taken it for about 3 years!.

heres what i found out push ups help at first with a gradual build up of muscle!. i would suggest weight training for big gains however!. And if you continue with push ups i would do it every three knights so the muscle has to time to rebuildWww@Answer-Health@Com

It will not put weight on you!. it may make you stronger and tone up your arms and core!. But you run the risk of burning calories that you may need to gain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
