Is it ok to do the same workout 3x a week??

Is it ok to have the same workout 3x a week.

Like, Deadlift, Bench press, military press, abs

3x a week, and instead of getting different exercises, just change the rest periods, weights, reps, sets, etc. to vary it a bit.


Answers:

It certainly is ok to do the same thing 3 times a week, but it might be better to mix in some stretching and cardio. You may actually get better results by doing that, plus you won't get burnt out as quickly. In the end, you're body will be better off. Still, at least you're doing something 3 times a week, and that's a good thing.
