1kg of muscle next to 1kg of fat would look like an apple next to a plum - different in size but same weight!. Muscle is DENSER than fat, so when you train and increse you muscle cells, your overall shape shrinks but your weight loss may not be as dramatic!. It is a process that takes time - shrinking your fat cells so dont expect a quick fix!.
Be consistant with your workouts and exercise and the only way to see those muscles BENEATH the layer of fat is to control the caloreies that goes in, verses the calories that you expel every day!.
Plateaus also occur - you may lose, gain, stop, lose etc!.
Break through this by changing your workout routine to trick your body that is working harder!.
And most of all - dont overtrain!. You need recovery for your muscles to grow and renew!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First thing!.!.!.!. a pound is a pound!. So no, technically, muscle does not weigh more than fat,

HOWEVER!.!.!.!.!. a pound of muscle takes up far less space than a pound of fat!. Think of it this way, How much space would a pound of concrete take up versus a pound of feathers!? obviously, the concrete takes up far less space, so, too, does muscle versus fat!.

Also, an added benefit of increasing lean muscle mass, is that muscle has a much higher caloric demand than fat, meaning that your body's metabolism will speed up and burn calories simply by maintaining bodily functions!. Muscle will also give you a Strong, toned physique, as oppose to a "skinny fat" person, who is all skin and bones!.

Bottom line, don't go by the scales!.!.!. go by how your clothes are fitting!. If you see that your clothes are fitting you more loosely, then you are on the right track!. Take body measurements, and keep track of them bi weekly!. This is a much better indicator of progression than the scale!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, muscle does weigh more than fat, some of the answers here have said some pretty strange things, but muscle does in fact weigh more than fat!. One gallon of muscle will be heavier than one gallon of fat, simple right!?

I weigh 84kgs at 5"10 and I am not fat, I know people at the same height at 80kgs who are fat!. The difference is in the amount of muscle mass vs!. fat!.

To track your fat loss and muscle gain, use a tape measure to measure different parts of your body!. If you are gaining weight and your waist is staying the same, it's likely that you gained muscle and not fat!.

You will not gain a significant amount of muscle while losing fat, as losing fat requires you be in a caloric deficit, in which you would not be supplying your body with enough nutrients to gain much muscle!. To lose fat you need to be in a caloric deficit(expending more calories than you intake), so you will need to eat less calories, and burn more instead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If u lose measurements and not weight, it cud amount to losing fat and gaining muscle!.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
