How can I get my boyfriend to work out with me?!

Question:

How can I get my boyfriend to work out with me?

My boy friend moved from another city to live with me back in December and since then I have gained like 20lbs. I was doing so good before but lately it's out of control. I need to start walking and exersizing again but I can't get motivated. And with it being so hot it's hard to go right after work cause its 110 -115 degrees out side so I have to wait until around 7:30 but by then it's like forget it. I would love to be able to go for a walk every few days with my boyfriend and go swimming or do something cause we have both put on the lbs (He's put on 30 since we met) however I feel bad for asking him because he is a mechanic and he has to work in that hot shop all day and is tired when gets home, but then he doesn't do anything after that. he just sits on the couch and watches TV. We both need to get more active I just cant find a way that will allow us to do it together?

Everything I will say to you below comes from my experience being a professional trainer for 8 years, and working out and studying fat loss for over 20 years.

You need to join a gym/health club. They are usually air-conditioned and the fact that you are paying a monthly fee will give you an extra incentive to use your membership.

Also, you go can go to the gym right after work, before you go home and start unwinding and get lazy and start eating Twinkies in front of the TV. Also, if you are not in the mood, you will get going once you see people in there moving and working out. Do whatever it takes to get this area of your life handled. Invest a few bucks a month in yourself, it will more than pay itself in value in how you look and fee.

Your boyfriend seems to not want to do it, so you can't wait for him to come around. I would not be surprised if he already doesn't want to have as much sex with you as before. He probably has very little energy being a couch potato. Best bet is for you to do it on your own first, and once he sees your passion, enthusiasm, and results, you will have a better chance of getting him to join you.

Most people don't move near enough. They have a desk job where they are sedentary 8 hours a day, then commute for another 1-2 hours, then go home and watch 3-4 hours of TV, so most of the day they are burning very few calories.
