Hello :)

I'm actually a health and weight loss counselor so I can give you some good tips!.

By the sounds of it, you have pretty good habits already when it comes to physical activity and food choices!. To give you a bit more structure, I'm going to outline the portions you should be eating a day along with a few things to keep in mind

2 starches (bread, rice, cereal, etc)
3 protein (eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, fish, chicken)
4 fruit
5 vegetables
2 fats (mayo, nuts, olive oil)
2 dairy (milk, soy milk, cheese, yogurt)

Other than your actual food groups, the most important part is portion control!. Stick to actual serving sizes such as 1/2 cup of cereal as the box suggests!. Some brands I can suggest that work well for weight loss are included on the bottom!. If you need more help with measurements for meat veggies or anything feel free to message me and I can give you more structure!.

Another thing to losing weight is keeping your starches before 4pm!. Try to get all your bread, cereal and such in earlier so your body uses it up instead of storing it!.

Next is water!. Water is so important for proper bodily functions!. Our body requires 64oz (2 liters) of water a day!. However, when you're working out, incrase your intake by 12-16 oz!. Coffee, tea, crystal light, etc does not qualify as water!.

I would also suggest staying away from salt and sugar!. Natural sugars are ok (splenda) but try staying away from anything artificial!. salt is a huge factor in weight gain because it causes your body to retian water (amongst other things) so definitely try to cut back as much as possible!.

Here's some suggestions for brands
Bacel
dempsters bread
fat free source/astro yogurt
rice krispies
kellogs (plain)
Kashi go lean
all bran
cheerios (plain)

I hope that helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow that sounds like an incredibly healthy diet already!. Some surprisingly good AND healthy snacks would be sunsweet prunes (the cherry essense ones taste like fruit rollups and 5 are only 100 calories and no fat) another is lucky charms!. It has about a gram of fat for a small bowl and about 100 calories!. It is a good sweet alternative!. Snacking actually isn't unhealthy I had an uncle lose like thirty pounds by snacking 5 times a day instead of eating big meals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
