Am I underweight...?!


Question: Am I underweight!.!.!.!?
I'm 14 years old, 5" 8' and 8st 2lbs
I used an online BMI calculator which told me I was underweight!. I eat enough, in fact I probably eat more junk than other people and I do half an hour to an hour of exercise a day but it kinda worried me!.
I dont know if the BMI was accurate or if it was biased because it was for adults etc etc!.
Should I go see my doctor!? Or am I just worrying too much!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 15 and have been struggling for a while with my weight, I am underweight!. But as long as your eating healthy and excersising, you should be perfectly fine, you just probably have a reallly high metabolism!. Even if you are underweight, just keep eating healthy, and ignore the rude remarks of others, you're fine!. And that weight will catch up with you when you get much older, more than likely!. Your only 14 there should be no worries!.!.!. your body is still developing!.! :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are a bit underweight!. You should be at least 8 stone 7 and even that is still on the light side!. But if you are eating enough, and eating healthily (and no, lots of junk is not healthy and will not help you gain weight!.!.!. only fat around your heart) I wouldn't worry!.

If you want to put a little on, just try and increase pasta, bread, rice, potatoes etc and see how that goes!. But you are only 14, you might yet put on weight as you get older!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends what hight you are and wether you've started!. I'm 14 and medium hight and I'm only 6st 7 and i also dont do any much exersice!. Your lucky your not putting weight on and able to eat all you want enjoy it while it lasts!. I would recomend you eat healthly though and exercise!. If you think you look right then theres nothing wrong with you but if you still feel worried about it then talk to your school nurse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are worried then there is no harm in going to see your doctor and they can check you out and make sure you are healthy!. THey can also advise you about healthy exercise and eating habits too!. No harm being careful and wanting to be healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dont worry!. I'm 14, and underweight aswell according to BMI counters!. But I am perfectly healthy!. We are just naturally thin lol!. And anyway, BMI counters are supposed to be for just adults!. Try searching for a Teenage BMI counter :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you were 20y/o i would say yes but bmi isn't for kids as your bones and muscle are not as strong until you reach adult hoodWww@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't say your underweight, theres girls my age who are 6 stone!.
