Question: Does not working out for a week effect you!? when!.!.!.!?
I normally work out 6-7 times a week

however on thursday i was hungover so i didnt, then friday i caught a cold and here i am sunday still with the cold!. I cant picture working out till at least wednesday, because i have a fever!.

Anyways since i normally workout 6-7 days a week and now im going to be 7 days without working out, what effects will this cause to my body!? On top of that i eat so much when im sick!. I dont wanna ruin all my hard efforts these past months because i have a cold!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First and foremost I can commend your desire to stay in shape but your idea of staying in shape is really not correct!. Working out with weights every day won't help you it will just create endurance!. Cardio should always be supplemented during the week!. You seem to care about appearance mostly!. Working out 5 days a week with weights and cardio for body shape is a good plan it's better to take two days off a week!. For many people eating a ton and not working out has NO!!! affect of your shape for about a period of 3 weeks!. So you could eat like crap and not work out for weeks and have no change!. Missing work out days won't hurt you but drinking will do more harm to hormones and body shape then eating crappy food!. So if any thing limit drinking, and make sure you eat properly every day don't starve your self!. Take days off from training when your sick!. Working out while hungover or sick will only do harm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You won't ruin your efforts!. Your body probably needs some time off anyway!. I was training 7 days a week and I went to Texas for 4 days!. When I came back I was bigger than ever!. My body grew because I rested it!. So don't worry!. Even if you do lose muscle you will get it back fast once you start working out again because we all have "muscle memory"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds to me like you may be over doing it and that may be why you got sick!. You might be sore going back to working out but just take it easy, work up to your normal routine don't just go at it!. Good Luck hope you get well soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it will have that much effect on you as your body is in such good shape!. Most people loose weight when they are ill, this is natural and therefore you adjust your eating to cope!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
