Does anyone have tips on not losing boobs while dieting?

I realize some people are going to judge me for my past, but I don't care. Please answer the question seriously. When I was 13-14 I abused speed and was a twig the whole time. When I started seeing my boyfriend I quit. It's been two years and I've gained about 22 pounds, putting me at 112 pounds at 5'2. I finally have boobs, but a lot of pudge in my stomach, and I know that I can lose a few pounds and still be healthy according to my body mass index.

The moral of the story is, I like my newfound boobs. I want to keep them without keeping my tummy (I am on a healthy diet plan), does anyone have any tips?


Answers:

It depends - different people lose fat in different parts of their body at different rates. Maybe you are one of the lucky few who retain fat in the chest! But even if you lose fat in your boobs you can keep shapely there by doing lots of upper body resistance training. Use handweights for shoulders and chest work, do push ups and swmming is great for upper body form too.

And wearing a good supportive sports bra for when doing cardio is imperative - cardio exercise is the best way to lose fat all over - no point in doing sit ups without doing cardio too. And if you metabolism is bit messed up from taking speed some regular cardio and weights training is just what you need to fix it up. Muscle keeps you burning fat all day. Maybe start out by power walking around a football oval with light handweights for 1/2 hour a day while listening to music - you'll look funny but you'll feel tops. Good luck :)
