How to get over sore pecs?!


Question: How to get over sore pecs!?
I lifted for the first time in a while this weekend!. My pecs are killing me!. Ibuprofin does nothing!. Any home remedies!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Rest is always the best medicine!. Your muscles need time to repair!.

However, giving them some light work might help stretch them out and loosing them up!.

If your pecs hurt really bad for more than a couple days, or you're getting sharp pains whenever you move them or something (you know, pain that doesn't feel like normal "post-workout soreness pain") You might want to see a doctor!.

A doctor can refer you to a specialist or at least prescribe some stronger meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As much as it sucks to say, unless you have strained or sprained them, movement is the best thing!. You can also try switching hot and cold!. Getting the muscles moving though is the best thing!. Even if they were strained they'd give you exercises to work it out!. Just take a shot or two and get movin! LOL!. ( sorry if suggesting a shot is offensive to you)Www@Answer-Health@Com

When this has happened to me, I found heat helps!. Sitting in a Jacuzzi will make you feel better, and if you sleep on your chest, sleep on top of your electric blanket with the heat on!.

I also try to massage my sore muscles too!. It should feel fine after 2-3 days!. Just be sure to give your sore muscles a break if you go back to the gym anytime soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

uhh if you cant deal with the soreness than you are a baby!.!.!.!. i love it after im done working out and the next day i feel sore!. it makes me feel good about myself!.!.!.but anyways to answer your question!.!.!. drink plenty of WATER!. water will help!.!.!.also drink protein shakes!.!.!.WHEY, CREATINE!. that will help rebuild the muscle tissue back up and reduce the soreness!. Also!.!.!.stretch when you are done working out!. your not going to die if you are sore for a couple of days!.!.!.trust me!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep on lifting!. Thats the best remedy for soreness!. Keep on excercizing the part of your body that is sore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Find a way to stretch them out!. The more you use them, despite the pain the less stiff and painful they will become!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
