I weigh a lot more than I look?!


Question: I weigh a lot more than I look!?
I weigh 132, but look like 120 or a little bit less!. Its not muscle because I don't have any!. So what is the cause of this!?

What is causing me to weigh this much!? Im happy at 132, but everytime I say that no one believes me until I step on a scale!. I don't have big boobs or butt either!. Im normal size, and people say I am so tiny, but the weight 132 doesn't go with my tiny figure!.

Bottom line - don't worry about, too many people put an emphasis on what the scale says!. If you want to really figure out what is going on there are a few things that you can do!.

1!. Go get your body fat percentage checked using a seven point pinch test!.

2!. The next step up from this as far as accuracy is concerned would be hydrostatic weighing!. This is an underwater weighing method that will measure the weight of your lean mass - everything except your fat since that is lighter than water!.

3!. If this is just going to drive you completely nuts until you find out, the most accurate method is, in simple terms, by X-ray!. This is also the most expensive!.

My guess is that your body fat percentage is going to be fairly low, although you didn't mention your height!. Low for women is going to be in the 10-15% range with the target being 18%!. High lean mass plus high bone density are the probable reasons why you are seeing the numbers on the scale!.

Bottom line - answer these questions:

-- how do you feel!?
-- how do you look!?
-- how do your clothes fit!?
-- do YOU want a change!?

This will give you the direction you need to go!.

Some people are heavier boned than others!. You may be one of those people and therefore you would weigh more than you look simply because your bone structure is heavy rather than you having heavy fat on your body!. Also, if you're a fan of exercise it may be because you're fit and healthy!. Muscle weighs more than fat and therefore if you exercise a lot your toned muscle would weigh quite a lot!. I weigh 161 and I wear a size 8 or 7-9 depending on the brand!. I gave up trying to figure it out!. Truth is I am lucky!. I don't have to starve myself to be a comfortable size!.

When I go to the doctors they never believe my weight!.

Your genetic build up is slights more dense!. About 10% is what it looks like!. Everyone guesses me at 120 but I'm 150 so no big deal for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
