I'm a size 6, how do I get myself to a size 4?!
Question:
I'm a size 6, how do I get myself to a size 4?
I have a good diet, I don't overeat, I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with a small snack (latte, sugar-free non-fat). I followed the Best Life (Bob Greene) all the way through, I lost about 6 pounds and would be happy to lose another 3-4 lbs. I am a 46 year old woman, I'm 5'4 and currently weigh 116 pounds. I exercise by walking every other day or so. I used to work out with light weights, but haven't for a while (had surgery). I am recovered from that. I don't drink as much water as I should, I probably only drink maybe 4 (8 oz.) glasses of water. What do you recommend me to do to achieve my goals? I'd like a tighter tummy and more toned hip area. Thanks!
Answers:
Keep walking; up the intensity of your walks to speed results (interval training works really well- walk slow for a minute, then fast for a minute, repeat). Start up your strength training as soon as you feel ready- muscle is the bodies natural fat burner. Heres a great site I use for weight loss tips and motivation. My favorite thing about it is that it encourages healthy weight loss (no water fasts!):

Good luck!
