What are some intense cardio interval training I can do in a 400m running track?!


Question: What are some intense cardio interval training I can do in a 400m running track!?
For example, is it good to run extremely fast for 100m and then walk/jog the remaining 300m !?

What are some suggestions!? Is running the only thing I can do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

depends on your purpose- if you are tying to improve your sprint speed, keep the intervals short like 100m!. If you are trying to improve running performance or lose weight, stick with 400 meter intervals or longer!. You can vary the workout every week and progress by increasing the number, decreasing the rest interval, increasing the distance of each interval, and finally running them faster!. See the link for a sample progession of interval training!. note: you need a stopwatch!.

Running intervals are great! You can finish up in less than 30 minutes and really give your metabolism a tremendous boost!. You will also be a much better runner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there are lots of things you can do!.!. first- four laps equals one mile so you can run a mile or two if ya want!.!. you could do sprints for ex 40 yard sprints, 50, 100, 400, etc!.!.!. you could run a fast pace lap then a lap going extremelly slow but still still a jog for a lap, then another fast pace and then a slow and that would be a mile as well!.!.!. with that you will feel like you have ran a lot more than a mile because the change of speeds kills ya haha!.!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
