Question:

Calorie breakdown Help Please!!!?

I'm 5 11' tall and 130 lbs. I work out everyday(cuz i can)....to get bigger. I wanna know how many calories my body needs per day...and how do i get them. Cuz if its like 3000 then i dunno how to get em cuz stuff on the package say 150 or 200calories/amount of food.

Answers:

Your body needs roughly 1785 calories to be able to sustain itself. Eating a big bowl of cereal for example can already have 500 calories. Then add what you eat for lunch and dinner and the snacks in between. However, if you work out then you do burn extra calories. So what you can do, you can add extras to your meals, extra snacks. Basically, because you work out a lot can you eat or drink just about anything without gaining weight. If you want to gain weight: One candy bar got an average of 280 calories, one slice of bread is 23 calories, one medium banana is 90 calories. In addition to that might you have a high metabolism rate---which means no matter how much you eat, you'll burn it. The best way to find out about that is to quit working out for a month so that you see if you gain weight when you don't work out.
To get the proper amount for you you'll have to consult a dietician who can give you a plan based on your height, current weight, exercise, and metabolism rate.
