Can too much of a cardio workout, be fatal ?!


Question: Can too much of a cardio workout, be fatal !?
No matter how I ask the question, my family seems too stupid to understand what I'm trying to say!.

I workout on my own with weights at a gym, and between whatever exercise I'm doing I take 2 or 3 minute breaks, because I like to feel totally refreshed!. I hate the feeling of being short on breath, so I sit and take deep breaths!.

With my older cousin, and his friend today we were doing super-sets, which is cool!. I do them too!. The thing is, they were rushing through the sets so fast, that they rushed me, and I could barely get a minute to rest!.

He explained how to breathe while exercising, because I felt winded!. I continued, and I'm glad I made it out of there alive!.

Besides just simply fainting, can't you get a heart attack !?

If your running non-stop for your first time, in my case exercising non-stop!. What can happen !?

What can happen as far as the heart !?

The muscles can mess up, but this question is specifically for cardio!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, if you get your heart beating too fast, for too long, it can possible go into fibbrillations!. (which can cause cardiac arrest) take frequent breaks when you are doing that kind of stuff!. You had it right!. Push yourself, but don't push yourself off the edge!. If you feel dizzy, sit down right away!. put your knees up and uput your head between your knees!.

This does NOT mean that you should stop excercising!. That is much more likely to cause problems!. You just have to be careful in how hard you push your body!. Drink LOTS of water, and be sure to replenish your electrolytes (gatorade/powerade) especcially if you are sweating alot!.

This is just what i think, but i dont know how old you are or if you have any heart problems but if you are pretty young and dont have any heart problems, then i dont think you could do anything fatal!. You will probablly faint before anything happens if your young, i have never heard of someone young and healthy really hurting themselves by working to hard!. If you are that worried i would recomend seeing a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have a heart condition, or your family has a history of heart conditions, overworking out can be fatal!. Running doesn't as far as I know, except if you are at like a 4 min!. mile pace for like 20 miles!.!.!. and I don't think many people do that!. How long did you really work out, and how heavy were the weights!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I guess you can drop dead, but when you lift weights you shouldn't be in a rush!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah depending on who you are! but if you are in a healthy condition you could get heat exaustion or get really sick! dont over work your self being tough isnt worth it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
