Getting back in shape?!

Question:

Getting back in shape?

I use to work out or have Rugby/Lacrosse practice 5 days a week. I was in good shape, had good cut muscles and stuff that were actually hard when I flexed. Now for about 6 or 7 months I haven't done much for working out because I failed out of school and there isn't a gym near me (plus I can't afford the ones that are relatively close). I haven't really gotten fat or anything, but my muscles aren't hard anymore even when I flex. I also lost my six pack and it sucks a lot. I want to start working out at home and stuff since I can't go to the gym right now (will eventually be able to afford it when I get my job stuff together). I've got some dumb bells in my basement that I can add and take weight away from and I was going to do crunches and push ups, things like that for upper body. I also figured a 2.5 - 3 mile jog would be good for getting my legs, and lungs, back into shape. Any advice for a good schedule I should try to go by and what excersizes I should do?

I also have a bench in my basement but no long bare down there anymore.

I want to try to get my muscles back to normal in like 2 or 3 weeks, but most people said it would take at least 6 weeks. Is there any way that it would only take 2 or 3 weeks since I use to work out and I'm not fat or anything, I'm just trying to get my body close to where it use to be?
