What food on a low carb diet?!


Question: What food on a low carb diet!?
I am planning on starting a low carb diet!. What kinds of foods should I be eating!? What are the rules!? What are some things that I can take to work to eat for lunch!? Am I allowed and snacks!? I have tried low cal diets and diet pills but it doesn't work!. I also have little time to exercise since I have a full time job during the day and a part time job at night!. I exercise some on the weekends!. I just keep gaining weight!. I'm up 50 lbs!. in 2 years!. I will take any advice at this point! Help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have found that low carb diets work well, but you have to watch your total calories too!. I was eating zero carbs for a while but eating too many calories and I didn't lose weight at all!. Foods I recommend are fish, lean meat, eggs, low fat cottage cheese, chicken, tuna, and vegetables, also eat a salad every day!. Eat only these things, and only drink water!. i am currently on this diet, and it is extremely easy to follow, and you lose weight FAST!.

you should be eating no fruit for the first 2 weeks of induction!.
after 2 weeks, you can start eating berries!.

FIRST 2 WEEKS:
20 carbs a day
-any meat
-cheese
-poultry
-butter
-seasonings
-veggies!.
-(i personally love the chocolate cool whip)
-just remember 20 carbs a day for the first 2 weeks

after those 2 weeks, you can add 5 carbs a week!.

if you are craving sweets, cool whip, whipped cream, sugar free popsicles/fudgecicles!.

Depends on whether you want the radical or moderate version!.

The radical version (like Atkins) tells you to spend a week or two eating only protein, and relatively high in fat, until your body starts changing the way it metabilizes food!. Only a little lettuce or spinach or the like for fiber, max 5 grams of carbs per day!. And take vitamin pills!. Your body will then start to burn fat instead of carbs for its energy!. It will burn your body fat as well as the fat you consume!. Upside is that it works quickly, downside is that you feel weak for a while, you have to take fiber supplements, and YOU CANNOT CHEAT AT ALL!!!! Seriously, if you cheat AT ALL, your body will use the carbs to absorb the fat, and you will store the fat and actually gain weight!. Snacks are things like pork rinds or hard cheese, things with no carbs at all!. You then start to SLOWLY add carbs each week until you find the right balance for your body!. And, it is less effective for women than for men!.

The more moderate type just controls your calorie intake by reducing carbs significantly!. You eat very low-fat proteins (avoid cheese), have plenty of veggies, and avoid sugar and processed carb as much as possible!. when you eat carbs, eat whole-grain (brown rice, 100% whole wheat bread, stuff like that)!. It is calorie-based, so if you cheat once in a while it is not TOO bad!.
