What muscles should you work out on a given day?

i never know what is best. which muscles should you work out on a given day. what amount of reps and sets should u do for each muscle group? i want to look great, like a lean bodybuilder. no steroids, i gain muscle mass easily. its the cuts i am worried about. i have a problem eating right too.
