Question:

How long will this take?

I want to get my muscles hard and cut again after not working out for about 7 months. Will I be able to do this is I work out for an hour 5 days a week for 3 weeks?

I'm going to try to build my muscles again but for now I just want them to be hard again because they're all soft and not tough.


Answers:

A lot depends on your diet , your weight now, how much if any you need to lose and your percentage of body fat. IF your body fat is low and IF you do not need to lose much weight, if you stay on a healthy diet rich in protein and carbs, then YES, you can start to see some significant results in as little as three weeks, given you are also doing a serious weight lifting routine to tone your muscles/body, including ab work. Also cutting out salt and sodas will be a major factor on seeing results quicker (since as I am sure you know, sodium and carbonation both cause you to hold water weight, looking 'puffy' and carbonation can cause your belly area to look 'bloated or puffy'.)
