Question: Right basically im 6'6 and i weigh 19 stone (123kg) and ive not long got into boxing HELP!?
i want to know about dieting, because, im not gonna lie, im fat!.!.!.well im not like massive, but i got a podge, and i wanna know the best way to lose weight, diet wise what to eat!. i do have quite a quick metabolism!.!.!.so!.!.!.yeah
also if you know what kind of training i should be doing thatd be great! Because my trainer is!.!.!.mediocre at best to be honest!.!.!.i have a LOT of power behind my punches and a good long reach, stamina isnt all that, i can go about 4 rounds before i get tired, but my stamina is improving!.!.!.

basically u need to b doing lots of cardiovascular work!.jogging,shadow boxing,gentle sparring!. pad work is great especialy hook and uppercut work because it trims the oblique(side) muscles and stomach muscles up!.dont work on ur power because that is sumfin u have naturally and u will always have!.work on ur weaknesses like ur stamina!.only train every other day because the rest days are the time ur muscles recover and gain their strength!.also do plenty of gentle stretching!.
for ur diet always eat breakfast,preferably porridge wiv honey or sugar or wholemeal bread with tuna or equivalent!.rice pasta chicken nuts seeds,yoghurts milk ,plenty of veg and as much fruit as u can!.bananas are excellent food for stamina athletes as are oranges kiwis etc!.also drink lots of wateror fruit juice and smoothies !.a gud idea also wud be to eat 4 or 5 small meals a day instead of a few large meals!.
for ur stomach strength id stay clear of situps as they can damage ur back and dont strengthen the stomach muscles u need!.concentrate on crunches with ur legs bent and keep the tension on ur abs as u do them!.dont 4get 2 breath as u do them though!.also back extensions are worthwhile to keep ur lower back strong as a weak back will giv u weak abs and vive versa!.
i hav to say though 4 rounds 4 sum 1 of ur size is excellent going so i wunt put urself down to much on dat!.
another bit of advice wud be 2 change ur trainer!.theres gud and bad trainers pick 1 dat u are comfortable with and 1 dat makes u work to ur full potential!.
