Workin out abs while on period?

hi i just wanted to ask if its ok for me 2 work on my abs while im on my period bcause someone advised me not 2 but i dnt c y not just wanted to see what you guys think to assure me

The only time it is inadvisable to work on abs is while you are pregnant, have had recent abdominal surgery, or have some other condition where your doctor has told you not to do crunches.

Most women can workout during their period, even their abs, and it can even help relieve some of the pain of cramps by moving around. Just realize that during that time, you may be a little more tired than normal, so you may not want to work out as hard. If you have a specific condition like severe cramps, endometriosis, or you are still unsure whether it is okay for you, then give your ob/gyn or doctor a call.
