Question: I have been working out everyday!.!.!.!?
I work off 500 calories a day and eat about 1300 so at the end of the day I am really eating 800 is this bad for me!? I really want to lose 10 pounds in 3 weeksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, that's bad for you!. After deducting exercise calories, you should have 1100 or more!. So you should be eating at least 1600 calories if you're working off 500!.

By having a small intake, you'll put your body into "starvation mode" - meaning that it thinks it's being starved so it "clings" to the calories that it does get - turning them into fat rather than using them for energy!.

Slowly try to increase your intake so that you're over 1100 after exercise!. Make sure you're eating plenty of fruit and vegetables, protein, and drinking water!.

Also, losing 10lbs in 3 weeks is unhealthy in itself!. A healthy maximum for loss is 2lbs in 1 week, so you shouldn't lose more than 6lbs in 3 weeks!.

I know it seems like a slow loss, but it's worth it in the long run!. If you lose faster, it'll be water weight rather than fat weight that you lose!. Which is both unhealthy and deceptive!. And then you'll put it back on without even trying!. If you lose weight slowly, it'll be fat weight and there's more of a chance of keeping it off!.

There are a lot of factors to take into consideration!. It depends on your starting weight and if 1300 calories is enough to carry your body through the day!. For instance if you are 120 pounds I don't think it will be a problem!. However, you are trying to lose 10 pounds (in 2 weeks nevertheless)!. That may be hard since 10 pounds on a small frame is a lot and if you are trying to lose 10 pounds on a large frame, 1300 calories may not be enough!. If your body doesn't receive enough calories to carry its normal operations, it will not allow the body to lose weight!.
