Pointers on how to lose 15 pounds by September 5th?

I'm looking to lose a total of between 15 and 20 pounds by September 5th. What are some steps that I need to take in order to meet my goal concerning diet and exercise? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

have a heavy breakfast.
Watch your drinks. It's amazing how many extra calories can be lurking in the sodas, juices, and other drinks that you take in every day. Simply cutting out a couple of cans of soda or switching to diet soda can save you 360 calories or more each day. Drink lots of water or other sugar-free drinks to quench your thirst and stay away from sugary juices and sodas. Switching from whole to nonfat or low-fat milk is also a good idea.
drink lots of liquid. Prefer Lime water instead of sodas or colas
If you're hungry for something, eat it. Don't deny yourself the simple pleasures. If it's possible, eat only half of what you want
have a light dinner.make it a habit of taking your dog to a walk in the evening (AFTER DINNER).
have a daily routine exercice not a specific workout time but stick to physical movement.Walk the walk. You burn calories when you walk, did you know that? Certainly, you don't expend as much energy as you do when you run, but you burn it nonetheless.

Take the escalator -- but climb the stairs while you ride. You'll get there faster and use your muscles while you're at it. Just 5 minutes of stair climbing burns 144 calories.
