Weight Loss Question?

Ive Been walking about 5-6 miles a day on the weekdays..
Eating well,occasional bull of ice cream at night..

but theres about 2 months left of summer,
i want to lose about 30 pounds if i do the walking and about playing 30 minutes of intense basketball 3 days a week along with the walking could i lose 30 pounds??

and how do i regain stamina i havent been running in a few years and im going to have gym when schools back and i can only run about 2 blocks without hardly losing my breathe.
how can i regain stamina without a tredmill??


Answers:

do you have any workout equip.? if you have anything that you hav use for your legs then try to build up muscle in your legs along with walking (fastwalking) if its your lungs that are giving you problems try to breath deap for awhile, this streaches out your lungs so they can take in more air which also reduces that burn in the muscles (lactic acid buildup) also try drinking alot of water in these summer months and try to cut out soda or any other kind of sugary liquid you normally drink because that will cut calories and cause weight loss. try not to have that bowl of ice cream and try workin out for most of the week instead of 3 days a week. the idea of getting active with sports is a very good plan! its fun and burns alot of calories. oh also once oyu get up to speed with your running try to go for more than 20 min. thats when your body starts to burn fat. but dont just focus on one part of your body, do sit ups and push ups to get all of your body inshape instead of just the legs, any questions on what kind of excercises you can do during you workout just email me at usmc_bam_08@military.com
