I am a 17 year old girl and I need major help losing weight! I am 5'4" and weight 220 pounds!! I want to lose weight and I try but nothing seems to be working!.Even since I moved I have no friends and all i do is stay in the house and eat!. I need help!. Will riding a bike everyday help me lose weight!? Also I have terrible eating habits, since i dont do anything I am always hungry and bored!. Also my family is from the south so everything is fried and fatting!. Please I just really need help I hate being like this!. I ve always been the fat one and got teased I cry and keep everything inside and I keep gaining weight!! So please help me!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're serious, and want success, you won't starve yourself!. Eat 5 or 6 times a day:

Get up in the morning at about 6 am and have breakfast:
Eat 2 egg whites with 1/4 cooked oatmeal and half a grapefruit!. Walk or job for 1 hour immediately after eating, checking your heartrate to make sure you're in your target range!. Warning - if you train above your target fat burning range, you're not helping yourself at all!. You'll be burning muscle tissue!. Big explosive movements (running too hard, kickboxing, spinning classes) will burn up muscle, not fat!.

Drink 80-100 ounces of water (not soda, not lemonade, not gatorade!. Plain water) every day!. And not all at once; spread it out thru the day!.

So, breakfast was at 6 am!? Eat a snack at 9 am!. 2-3 ounces of chicken breast (no skin, no salt) and a cup of fresh greens (can add onion, tomato, broccoli, etc)!. (no dressing)

noon - eat 2-3 ounces of fish or chicken (again, lean meat only, no salt added) have a small (golf ball size) baked potato and some salad greens again (no dressing) and a few strawberries (4-5)

3 pm - 2-3 more ounces of protein and more salad greens (you can pile on onion, tomato, broccoli, etc!. with all the salads, just no dairy and no dressing)

6 pm - dinner - 2-3 ounces of protein, a small baked potato or 1/2 cup unseasoned cooked long grain rice, some steamed veggies and 1/2 a peach or plum for dessert!.

9 pm snack: 4-5 more strawberries!.

Wake up the next day and repeat!. You can lose 10 pounds the first week if you're really true to it!. Don't skimp on the water!. Shoot for around 100 ounces!. Don't eat at any restaurants at all, even salads!. Don't add salt to anything you eat, and check the labels on the chicken you buy!. Saline solutions are injected into some brands, avoid that if you can!.

I did this, and lost 15 pounds in two weeks and 28 pounds in 6 weeks!. Your body needs the nutrients in order to effectively burn the calories!. Sounds weird, but it's true!. You have to kick your body into burning the food you put into it, so that it will burn the fat you're already carrying!.

If you're trying to fit into a dress or something, add in lots of toning - situps and push ups to help lean up the muscles; yoga's a great idea, as are pilates workouts!.

The previous poster is right - the first 7-10 pounds is water weight - a lot of that is caused by the insane amounts of sodium in processed foods that we're so used to eating!.

you should eat 1200 calories a day and eat only 30 calories from fat!.!.!.!. watch the salt intake because salt makes you retain water!.!.!.!. also you should do lots of cardio!. Eat 25 grams of fiber a day or get the fiber in the form of a pill because fiber makes you feel full and it also absorbs the fat you eat and you pass it out of your body before your body has a chance to get into your fat cells and make them bigger!.!.!.!.!.Did you know that you burn 550 calories while you sleep, so get lots of rest!.!.!.!. 1000 calories on an 8 hour phone call, 30 calories watching TV for 15 mins, 12 calories walking up/down 10 steps!.!.!.!.!.!. The more calories you burn and the less you eat= weight loss!.!.!.!. A very good way which is legal is getting a body wrap, that works soooo good, you can get it from any local spa for about 60 bucks and youre sure to lose toxins and 15 pounds!. Bike riding will help you loose weight, drink plenty of water, buy healthy snacks and eat them!. My doctor told me that if I was hungry to eat baby carrots to curb my hunger!. Boredom leads to eating when you are not hungry!. Find a hobby to entertain you when you are bored!. If you are entertained, most likely it will keep you from snacking!. As for the friends, take chances and try introducing yourself to new people, if you don't try to make new friends how are you ever going to have any friends!?

I know you can do this! Just keep a positive outlook!

You're 17, so start taking responsibility for your own health!. If your family isn't going to change, thats a shame!. But take YOUR health into YOUR hands!.

Start buying your own food if thats what it means, or at least preparing your own meals!. There are about a ga-zillion healthy, low fat or any other type of food you think would work for you cook books out there!.

And exercise!. Thats a given!.

If you keep down this path, you're on your way to diabetes by the age of 25!. Claim your life back instead of playing the victim!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think have a dream goal is the best way to set the right attitude!.

As for me, I want a 6 pack just so I can pick up girls!. So whatever floats your boat, then go ahead and believe in it and follow it!.

First, start drinking green tea!. Not the American instant, but like the ones with actual leaves!. This will decrease the amount of fat intake to your body

Also begin running!. Try working up to running 20 minutes at a time!. You don't have to run fast, but make sure you are sweating/breathing hard!.

Control what you eat!. Remember, hot guys love skinny girls!. Although its a horrible belief, but thats what is going to keep you going!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't skip lunch, because you'll just eat more when you get home anyway!. Instead eat something healthy so that you're not hungry and you feel good about yourself!. Salads are good, wholewheat bread with lettuce, tomoatoes, cucumbers, cheese (no mayonnaise), baked beans are very healthy with a piece of wholemeal bread, and sushi is also very healthy!.

My new year's resolution for 2008 was to lose weight and become vegetarian, and so far i've lost about 8 kilos (nearly 18 pounds)!. I tried the "stop eating" approach and definitly doesn't work, and it made my grades at school drop significantly because i wasn't eating enough food to concentrate!.

Also, make sure you have a healthy breakfast!. Scrambled eggs, omelettes with spinach and cheddar cheese, or if you have a smoothie machine, fresh strawberries, kiwis, half a banana, and some cartoned yoghurt!. You can drink this from a glass or pour it over some healthy cereal (like Special K)!. If you have a trampoline in your garden do that about 15 min a day, or if you live close to friends go for a ten minute walk every day!. As far as exercise goes, start of slowly so that you're able to maintain it!. I do aerobics twice a week, which i love because the point of aerobics is to tone your body, so that's what they concentrate on the most!. Also simple things like skipping ropes, if you could do that for 2-5 minutes a day and keep that up, you'd feel a real change!
Cut out obvious bad food like canned drinks, crisps, chocolate, and sweets!. This may be difficult but if you find something that you enjoy eating that is healthy, this will be made easier (my weakness is kiwi and mixed nuts)!. Drink fresh orange juice and if you ever feel yourself getting cravings drink lots of water, as it stops you from getting hungry!.
